Some things are worth doing slowly. 清宫寿桃丸 draws on a centuries-old court formula and a roster of prized botanicals, prepared the traditional way by master craftsmen and made under a modern manufacturing standard. In traditional Chinese medicine, this preparation is traditionally used to nourish kidney essence (补肾) and replenish qi (元气). Gentle and balanced in character, it is made to be taken as part of a considered daily routine.

Heritage

The formula began as the Pan Tao Pill (蟠桃丸), recorded in the Qing imperial medical archives and associated with the court of Emperor Qianlong. Preserved for generations, it was recovered in the 1980s and returned to production by Tianjin Da Ren Tang. In 2011, the traditional craft of its making was inscribed as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage.
